Church Ministries

At St Mary's we encourage everyone to be part of a small group to get to know others in our diverse community and to grow in your faith.

Small groups are also key to our reaching out into our local community to meet the needs of the people around us.

Under 3s

During both services there is a  creche room and a 'quiet area' at the back of church to allow parents and toddlers to remain in the service.

The aim is to introduce the children to Jesus in a welcoming & secure atmosphere, using stories, colouring and games. The group meets in small room in the Magdalene Centre.

Each week the group looks at a Bible story in a fun way and tries to get to know Jesus better. The children enjoy games, crafts, singing and other activities.

11 plus

This group meets in the Youth Room. We aim to help young people grow in faith and fellowship through fun and relevant Bible study.

Young Volunteers

Once in a Week

Life Groups are all about being part of a small community and forming deepening relationships with others. They are one of the best ways to find support and encouragement in our spiritual journey. A Life Group meeting is usually held weekly in a member of the group's home or, more recently, on 'zoom'.

Donations of tinned and dried goods, personal hygiene items, bathroom, and kitchen cleaning items can be dropped into the Crypt of St Mary Magdalene.

Wednesdays and Saturdays 10 am - 2pm
