Magdalene Pre-school

The church operates the Magdalene Pre-school (ages 2½ - 4½ years). It runs five mornings a week and three afternoons a week (not Tuesdays and Wednesdays).  It meets in the Magdalene Centre with its lovely walled garden, popular with the children and ideal for outdoor learning.

Magdalene Pre-school Nursery values all children as individuals and works to help them discover that learning is interesting and fun. We work together with you to support you and your child. The strength of our setting is in the professionalism and dedication of the staff.

Our rich, varied and well equipped environment supports children’s learning and development, indoors and outdoors. We have a unique walled garden which children access daily in all weathers. The children grow vegetables, fruit and flowers and cultivate our wild patch for children to explore and learn about the natural world.

We always have very positive feedback from our parent/carers and pride ourselves that our children become strong, healthy, competent learners. All staff are first aid and paediatric first aid trained.

We have parking for parent/carers to drop off and pick up children.

We aim to add to the life of the community.
